BEFORE YOU JUMP IN
Less guesswork. More building.
You don't need a job title to start. Look for a project whose difficulty and technology match your skills, and read its learning outcomes before joining.
After you join, the project team arranges access to the frontend and backend repositories. You may need to share your GitHub or GitLab account details and accept an invitation. Access may take some time; it is not instant after payment.
Work on the ticket and submit your contribution for review. Your lead reviews the work and can accept it or request changes. Leads can also assign specific tickets to engineers in the project.
